Though browsing the web with Firefox is fun, there are many addons available for it that can improve the experience. These addons is one of reasons Firefox is so unique in browsers world.
Addons are not just for web users, as a web developer, I, myself benefit a lot from addons that are available and they are so useful that I think I wouldn't be able to design websites without these addons.
The following is a list of 13 Firefox addons that I mostly use and benefit from them when developing websites.

If I had to choose just one Firefox addon, and just one, I would definitely choose Web Developer.
Among the main features are changing the CSS and instantly seeing them in action, and also for HTML. It's possible to temporarily disable javascript. Changing cookies, manipulating forms, disabling images, selecting some of the elements to be bordered in red, easy to find links for validating pages and many other features are available too.
You surely must install it and see it in action to see why I insist on using this addon.

Developing websites without using this addon is really hard, and because I put this addons after web developer doesn't mean it's any less important than web deveoper.
Anytime there is a need to find code for an element, you will need firebug. It has features for debugging javascript. It's funny that there are some addons written for Firebug itself!

One of the best addons that I think every browser must have something like it is scrapbook. Web developers many times need to store a long list of websites in their computers which is hard to store and maintain. But it's true without scrapbook.
scrapbook is really great, and it stores websites in their entirety. At the time I started using this addon browsers couldn't store the full page using the save option, and I used this addon just to have site completely stored. But now I use it to manage the the sites as well, and it does its job perfectly.
This addon is really great!

Fiddler is not simply a Firefox addon, but a seperate software. but because web developers usually need it, I put it in this list.
After the fiddler is installed, it will install an addon into firefox too.
In brief, fiddler shows and lets you manipulate the whole traffic going from the server to the browser. this software sometimes is really needed for developing web applications.

Simple, but really usefull. A ftp manager integrated into firefox.

Not all web browsers use a same screen resolution. If you want to know how your website is seen by a browser with a different resolution, use this addon.

An Addon for Firebug! developed by yahoo. This addon tests your site and shows a report telling you how to make your site faster to load.

Sometimes you will need to know the size of a part of web page in pixels. This addon helps you do this by simply drawing a rectangle on the page.

If you want to know how your site is seen by IE users, but you don't want to leave firefox, use this addon. Also if you want to use a site that is just compatible with IE!

Shows if google analytics is enabled for the site or not.

A complex and feature-full addon for testing web applications. I don't use it, but it's a great tool for testing big web applications

Shows some information about the site related to SEO.

If you too have many RSS bookmarks added to your Firefox bookmarks toolbar, and hate to check every one of them to see if any of them has something new, use LiveClick.
Bookmarks with new items will be shown in red.
If you know an interesting addon for web developers which is not in the list above, tell me.
